Keemun Mao Feng

Keemun Mao Feng red tea, produced in Anhui province, is one of the most famous and ancient Chinese teas. It is also called the "Emperor of Red Teas" as it is the favorite drink of the British royal family.

Unlike other varieties of Keemun, when processing Mao Feng, the tea leaves are not cut. Due to this, its taste is lighter and does not contain the characteristic bitterness but acquires a citrus hue with pleasant resinous notes.

The reddish-brown tea infusion has a rich and invigorating taste with notes of dried fruit, malt and chocolate, followed by a pleasant spicy aftertaste. A persistent, balanced aroma of honey, fruit and flowers is a distinctive feature of Keemun Mao Feng tea.
