This is a special, selected variety of tea of high quality. Tea is famous for its thick golden inflorescences made from old tea bushes. This variety is produced in the Yunnan region, known for producing excellent tea. Black tea from this region is often called Dian Hong tea, as the central part of Yunnan was known as "Dian" long ago.
The tea leaves and buds are hand-picked and expertly processed in the classic Dian Hong style, which originated in 1958 at the Feng Qing factory. To prepare this variety, only the top bud and one adjacent leaf are collected. This allows the straight shape of the tea leaves to achieve an amazing look with golden tips.
The color of the tea infusion is reddish-brown. The aroma is fresh, honey-floral with a slight spicy undertone. The taste is soft, with a slight bitterness, honey-chocolate notes are felt, and the floral-nutty aftertaste is refreshing and clean.
