One of the most famous teas, which belongs to rare varieties, as it grows only in Nantou County in Taiwan. The consonant name is associated with the place of growth of tea trees on the mountain peak "Frosty Peak" or "Ice Fog from Mountain Peaks".
Tea acquires its amazing qualities of taste, aroma and healing properties thanks to special climatic conditions of the area. The morning sun, abundant afternoon fog and strong winds fill Taiwan's Oolong Dong Ding with many useful substances. To prepare this tea, only 3-5 upper leaves and a bud are used, which in the process of processing undergo a weak fermentation of only 25%.
Due to all these features, Dong Ding tea can boast of its honey-amber color of infusion, filled with a fresh aroma with a rich mild taste.
