Its second name is Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong, but some simply call it smoked tea. Lapsang Souchong is grown and harvested in the Wuyi region of Fujian Province, China. Unlike other high-grade teas, the fourth and fifth leaves are used as raw materials. Although they are more mature and coarser, with less aromatic ability, due to non-standard manufacturing technology, tea acquires its amazingness.

Brewed tea has a rich smoky aroma with notes of prunes, complemented by light aromas of wood and cinnamon.
