This small tea cake from Menghai County is a ripe, aged pu-erh. Before tea was compressed into miniature pancakes in 2017, the raw materials for cooking were aged for 8 years.
This Pu-erh tea has a dark, brown-ruby color of infusion. The taste and aroma of the finished tea acquires a nutty-woody character, with notes of spices and dried fruits.
