Jin Zun Mei is one of the best varieties of Chinese red tea, although it belongs to the “young” varieties. Delicately twisted buds with golden tips distinguish this tea from other black teas.
The first batch was created relatively recently, in 2005 in the Wuyi region, Fuzzian Province. At the request of some tea connoisseurs from Beijing, master Liang Jun De decided to make a special type of tea consisting only of buds. The tea turned out to be so amazing that many people liked it and quickly gained popularity.
The process of making this exquisite tea is taken from the classic Lapsang Souchong, but without the smoking. And the main difference and feature of tea is the raw materials. For preparation, delicate tea buds are used, which undergo an improved fermentation process.
As a result, the tea is stunning with the beauty of small gilded buds that smell of sweetness and malt. The infusion is dense and has a piercing amber color. The tea has a rich and deep taste, which reveals itself in a new way with each sip.
